Job Summary:

The GAP Regional Protective Services Specialist is responsible for providing security advice and assistance to Accenture locations within Geographic Area of responsibility. Areas of security include life safety and business continuity, executive protection, and physical security procurement. S/he is responsible for conducting physical security reviews of Accenture offices and projects sites.

Key Responsibilities:
· Ensures the reporting Regional Protective Services Lead/Supervisor is fully informed of status, deliverable deadlines, and actions that are behind target.
· Prepares weekly status report and attends team status meetings.
· Identifies complex or disputed issues, which have major day-to-day impact on area of responsibility and resolves with guidance from Regional Protective Services Lead/Supervisor.
· Develops and manages positive customer relationships within area of responsibility.
· May identify new opportunities within area of responsibility.
· Identifies complex business problems where collaboration and cooperation between individuals is often needed to affect the solution. Works with Regional Protective Services Lead/Supervisor to build consensus for recommended solution to ensure successful resolution
· Deals with difficult and sensitive situations appropriately.
· Applies functional knowledge and understanding of policies, procedures, and operational frameworks to anticipate and address business issues.
· Has strong knowledge of Life Safety, Business Continuity and Physical Security.
· Provides advice and guidance regarding protective services in geographic area of responsibility.
· Serves as a key contact regarding safety/security issues within geographic area of responsibility.
· Manages contract relationships with external service providers (manage contracts, review performance against strategy and budget) within area of responsibility.
· Actively participates in sharing best practices across areas or functions.
· Uses judgment with guidance from Regional Protective Services Lead/Supervisor to make a variety of security decisions, some complex in nature. Decisions may sometimes have influence on the Global Asset Protection team or the direct safety of other Accenture employees.
· Help develop and implement processes, procedures and/or initiatives within area of responsibility.
· Multi-tasks to meet team and customer deliverables (examples include complex work plans for project and office safety/contingency planning).
· Operates with a large degree of autonomy and independence. Plans and prioritizes complex activities for own work and that of direct reports.
· Ensure quality deliverables and productivity of his/her team.
· Manage positive relationships with all internal and external customers/vendors and independently resolve escalated issues (responsible for the communication efforts to such as changes, new services, incidences).
Events
· Plan and provide physical security for meetings involving large partner or client attendance within geographic area of responsibility.
· Coordinates on site security, medical and local law enforcement support accordingly.
· Provides security and contingency planning for market level meetings and larger community meetings as requested.
Reviews & Oversight for Locations
· Serves as project manager/advisor for security system installation.
· Provides liaison between vendors, procurement and local management.
· Provides assistance in developing Life Safety, Business Continuity Plans for locations in geographic areas of responsibilities.
· Performs location Life Safety, Business Continuity and Physical Security Review.
Contingencies and Incident Response
· Coordinates crisis line response with Regional Protective Services Lead/Supervisor
· Assists geography leads with contingency planning, Country At Risk Evacuation Planning and Termination for Cause situations
· Provides on-scene crisis management response and assistance, if requested
· Activates local emergency management teams for disaster response
· Coordinates vendor/contractor response involvement
Investigations
· Supports the investigations team with ad hoc requests for background checks, etc.
Relationships:
Reports to: Regional Protective Services Lead/Supervisor
External Relationships: External security vendors

Role Requirements:
· Ability to travel 25% of time
· Ability to work overtime on short notice

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Basic Qualifications:
·  Minimum of two years experience in a security field, at government, corporate 1000 or larger company
Preferred Qualifications:
·  Bachelor degree or equivalent experience preferred
·  Knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint applications
·  Knowledge of contract management
·  General understanding of investigative process
·  General understanding of safety/security in a corporate environment
·  General understanding of legal and corporate terminology
