ELECTRONIC SYSTEMS ENGINEER - FUNCTIONAL SAFETY (H/F)

General description:
Responsible for customer requirements (especially functional safety) management, translation of customer requirements in to detailed product requirements, and compliance testing for power electronics controllers (Inverter, DCDC, On-board Charger).
Will be part of a multi-cultural, multi-disciplined product development team working on projects involving multiple locations.
Specific description :
- Interface with European customers to evaluate and specify power electronics controllers (Inverter, DCDC, On-board Charger…);
- Generate technical safety concept & define technical safety requirements;
- Generate work product like FMEDA, FTA…;
- Generates Formal Analysis Report;
- Generates power electronics controllers design concept (Product Mechanization);
- Generates product functional test plan (compliance testing);
- Perform product functional testing on test bench and car;
- Support customer test and validation programs.
Profile/Skills:
4 or 5 year University degree in Electrical Engineering
Work experience / Skills
- Big picture thinker with an eye for details
- Familiarity with ISO 26262
- Understanding of vehicle electronic requirements and power electronics systems requirements ( electrical machine control)
- Experience in real-time embedded system design
- Strong communication skills are essential
- Previous experience in automotive powertrain/power electronics is a benefit
- Good foundation knowledge of both hardware and software
