We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Manufacturing Supervisor within our Abbott Rapid Diagnostics business located at Scarborough, Maine.  In this role, you will be responsible for providing advanced technical support and supervision toward the accomplishment of manufacturing and product development objectives.

Abbott Rapid Diagnostics (formerly Alere) is part of Abbott’s Diagnostics family of businesses, bringing together exceptional teams of experts and industry leading technologies to support diagnostic testing which provides important information for treatment and management of diseases and other conditions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for managing product/process testing projects
  • Supervises TM personnel in day to day functions
  • Schedules test programs and management of workload to help assure timely and satisfactory completion of projects
  • Coordinates TM duties with necessary departments

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) or MS in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in medical/biotech field.
