JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position Summary:

We are looking for a high caliber Systems Engineer II to join our team in the St. Paul, MN location.  In this role, you will be supporting the design and development and the testing of next generation Electrophysiology Medical Systems for navigation, mapping, and ablation.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Execute on-time completion of systems engineering deliverables
  • Lead concepts of operation reviews and updates to meet end user needs.
  • Follow systems engineering process flows to integrate system, software and hardware changes and updates
  • Development and analysis of system requirements
  • Coordinate multiple engineering discipline teams
  • Development of system architectures and specifications
  • Conduct subsystem integration
  • Problem documentation and resolution
  • Maintain high standards for content completion, integrity, and regulatory & standards compliance
  • Comply with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, Software, Biomedical Engineering, or related discipline
  • 2+ years of R&D experience from any industry (i.e. manufacturing, medical device, etc)
  • 1+ years of programming (in any technical language)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to communicate to all levels of the organization

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced level degree
  • Systems engineering and/or project management experience
  • Proficient with MATLAB
  • Team leadership experience
