JOB DESCRIPTION:

Maintain workflow by studying methods; implementing cost reductions, developing reporting procedures; and improve efficiencies based on team goals

Resolve supply chain issues by analyzing data, and identifying solutions

Lead projects as assigned by the Public Warehouse Manager

Provide information by utilizing the Warehouse Mailbox by answering questions and requests in a timely manner

Provide daily effective and precise communication to Sr. Management and Customer Service

Review KPI's with 3PL sites to ensure that service level goals are achieved

Provide support and back-up to Logistics Managers

Review Daily Open Order Reports to ensure customer shipping expectations are being fulfilled by Abbott's 3PL locations

Monitor TPM and STO Inbounds to ensure that contractual obligations are within compliance

Support standardization of warehouse processes among all vendors

Daily inventory reconciliation between SAP and 3PL WMS systems

Oversee inventory accuracy of all systems including the third-party warehouse management systems, CAMBAR WMS and SAP

Work with 3PLs to research and clear all idoc failures within SAP

Monitor Customer Returns to ensure all product returns are processed expeditiously and provide disposition where needed

Responsible for processing 3PL invoices and provide follow-up to 3PL sites regarding payments status

Advanced excel and office skills

Applicant must display knowledge of advanced excel formulas and functions, spread sheet design, and macro creation.

Database skills

Applicant must be familiar with SQL database language. Experience designing queries, forms, and reports in Microsoft Access is preferred.

Problem solving and data analysis skills

Applicant must possess solid deductive reasoning skills and be capable of working with large data sets.

Basic Web Design

Applicant must be familiar with the basic concepts of web design. Experience designing and maintaining Microsoft SharePoint sites is preferred.

Working knowledge of EDI interfaces

Applicant must possess a general understanding of Electronic Data Interchange technology. Familiarity with standard EDI transaction sets used in logistics is preferred.

SAP Experience

Applicant should possess prior experience working with SAP Idocs and have a good grasp of SAP sales order and replenishment document flow.

Warehouse Operations

Applicant should have experience with overall warehouse operations (Shipping, Receiving, scheduling, Inventory Management)

Warehouse Management System Experience

Applicant should have experience working with one or more warehouse management systems (Red Prairie, Manhattan, Cambar, SAP WM, Etc.)

Project Experience

Applicant should have experience working on large projects as an individual contributor. Experience as a subject matter expert on IT projects is preferred.

Education - Bachelor degree preferred. Minimum 5-7 years warehouse operations including systems support
