Our location in Austin TX, currently has an opportunity for a Sales Compensation Analyst. In this role, you’ll be responsible for analysis, calculation and reporting of variable compensation for Abbott Neuromodulation’s US commercial business. This position also plays a key role in various cross-functional projects by providing data and analytics related to sales compensation and other incentive programs.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

·  Responsible for all aspects of the day to day operations leading to accurate and timely monthly and quarterly compensation payments
·  Create, analyze, review, validate and audit monthly reports to ensure accuracy and completeness of commissions payouts
·  Manage and track non-revenue measurements used in qualitative assessments and SPIF programs
·  Maintain, troubleshoot and resolve calculation and/or data errors within Callidus (Commission Software system) ensuring 100% accuracy
·  Perform testing and other support activities related to plan, quota, and compensation plan changes
·  Build and maintain standard operating procedures for sales compensation. Develop processes to safeguard against errors and clearly communicate findings with all impacted groups.
·  Partner with Executives, Sales Operations, Accounting, Payroll, and HR to identify and implement operational improvements related to internal and cross-functional processes
·  Assist and researches employee questions to bring to resolution.

Accountability

·  Ensures appropriate integrity and reasonableness of data as well as compliance with Corporate/Division policies and procedures.
·  Responsible for adherence to Abbott accounting policies and procedures (CFMs).
·  Seek guidance and deliver proposed solutions on issues outside of normal scope.
·  Very organized with good interpersonal, communication, and presentations skills.
·  Operate with minimal supervision on projects with significant interface across functions and groups.
·  Balance demands of a variety of customers with potentially conflicting goals.
·  Meet deadlines and balance workload requirements.
·  Accountable for meeting critical project deliverables.

 EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING

·  1-3 years as a Sales Compensation analyst or related experience
·  Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or other field requiring analytical aptitude.
·  Knowledgeable in CRM systems, Excel and working with large datasets
·  Strong analytical skills and high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
·  Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
·  Adaptability and ability to plan, prioritize, and organize effectively and work under pressure deadlines.
·  Strong oral and written communication skills
