The Abbott Diabetes Care division based in Donegal Town has recently undertaken a significant expansion and as such has a requirement for a Quality Processor.

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

The Quality Processor is chiefly responsible for carrying out direct operations in Material Handling and Manufacturing thereby ensuring the site delivers safe and effective products that meet customer needs whilst maintaining compliance.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Ensuring the quality of product.
• In Process Inspections.
• Writing/providing input for operating procedures.
• Computer data inputting.
• Materials/warehouse support.
• Performing Data Entry, Receiving Inventory and Cycle Counting.
• Improving Environmental, Health and Safety performance in the plant.
• Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and performing other duties as assigned by management

EDUCATION REQUIRED:

• Leaving Certificate

TRAINING & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Experience in a manufacturing environment an advantage but not essential as training will be provided
