Operations Support Analyst

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are recruiting an Operations Support Analyst to join the Supply Chain Department of our European Distribution Center in Machelen.

The Operations Support Analyst will:

• Analyze SAP/system data to determine optimization area's (EDC lay-out, storage capacity, replenishment, efficiency, service levels, KPI's,…)
• Communicate effectively with SAP/system technical team and SAP/system users
• Act as a role model in Lean Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement methodologies
• Document processes, functional specifications and write work instructions and process flows
• Provide ongoing SAP support, support during SAP upgrade or other major projects
• Lead or participate in the development and implementation of new operational processes
• Lead or participate in operational and cross departmental projects (for example SAP)
• Act as a back-up in service request investigations and complaints (internal + external), inventory and count issues and orders/deliveries with an issue
• Ensure that activities are carried out according to applicable internal and external processes, procedures and guidelines (quality, safety, health)

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor or equivalent by experience
• Detailed knowledge of an ERP system (SAP preferred)
• Proven analytical work experience in an operations environment
• Knowledge of ISO13485 is a strong asset
• Fluent in English (spoken and written) with good knowledge of Dutch and/or French
• Thorough knowledge of office applications: advanced MS excel skills is a must, Microsoft Macro's and VBA is a strong asset
• Experience with lean Six Sigma tools and methodology
• Detail oriented, flexible and a strong team player
• Hands on mentality
• Strong customer orientation with excellent interpersonal skills
• Good ability to plan and prioritize own work
• Quality minded with the appropriate focus on accuracy, order and cleanliness
• Stress resistant
