For our GLP team in Hamburg we are looking for a

Development Engineer Embedded Software (m/f/d)

for our lab automation in Hamburg.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and development of innovative lab automation solutions in a real-time environment through the creation of specifications and models
  • Integration of your solutions into a highly interconnected system of mechatronic and sensory components
  • Programming of embedded drivers and micro controllers in C
  • Documentation of the work results within the framework of the requirements for manufacturers of medical devices
  • Close cooperation with our mechanical design engineers, robotics and workflow experts and other international interfaces

Your profile:

  • Degree in medical technology, electrical engineering or computer science or a similar
  • Profound working experience in the above-mentioned tasks in a medical devices / regulated environment
  • Very good programming skills in C, preferably also in C++
  • Interest in Embedded Real-Time Operating Systems
  • Experience in dealing with different interfaces (SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet) is an advantage
  • Experience with standard-compliant development in medical technology makes us very happy.
  • UML knowledge is a plus
  • Ability to work independently but also in a team
  • Fluent skills in English, German language skills are a plus
