Service Coordinator Internship

Job description

We are looking for a Service Coordinator Junior to join our Industrial Automation division in Business Unit Marine & Ports, located in Genova. You will coordinate either Service work done at site or remote support request ensuring the compliance with ABB's and Customer's standards, procedures and policies. Contract: internship.

Tasks:

• You will follow ABB policies and business ethics;
• You will work in accordance with ABB procedures using applicable tools;
• You will ensure quality in all the assigned tasks;
• You will manage onsite activities from administration duties via SAP system to activity planning /coordination and logistic arrangement for job related travels;
• You will manage all required reporting and documentation, ensuring all necessary data has been registered in a timely manner in the system.
• Analysis of actual / planned costs;

Requirements:

If You have:

• A degree in Naval Engineering, Management knowledge is a plus;
• Good knowledge on automation and Electro-Technical topics;
• Good knowledge on industrial and real-time processes with particular focus on power generation and distribution;
• Confidence with all Pc tools and Microsoft package, SAP is a plus;
• Working in a service organization, the following attitudes are strictly required: responsiveness and quick acting mindset, learning smartness, great flexibility, problem solving, team working, under pressure working skills, target-oriented mindset;

Working in an Italian service organization with worldwide Customer, the following
requirements are strictly needed:

• Perfect Italian language level spoken and written;
• Good English language level spoken and written;
• Availability to travel worldwide with any means of transport, especially plane, ship and car even with a short pre-notice;
• Valid car driver license;
