Tasks:
We are offering a position as a Hardware Design Engineer at ABB Oy, Marine and Ports unit in Helsinki. You will be responsible for system-related design documentation, such as cabling diagrams, connection lists, single-line diagrams and wiring diagrams in modernization projects of passenger ships. You will also be responsible for ensuring that interfaces between relevant electrical equipment are correct. Desired profile

Requirements:

We require a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in electrical engineering and several years' experience in electrical design with CAD tools for industrial projects. Knowledge of industrial electrical equipment, such as generators, motors, drives and switchboards, is required. We appreciate knowledge of protection relays, bridge control systems and 800xA control systems. You are a team player with a systemic way of working. The ideal candidate has an excellent ability to prioritize tasks, and works well under the pressure. Commissioning experience is considered a merit. You are proficient with MS Office and CAD tools; EPLAN and SAP skills are appreciated. A willingness to travel, sometimes on short notice, is required for the job. Fluent Finnish and English skills are required; other language skills are considered an asset.
