Job Summary :

The person hired for the position of Digital Media Specialist will be responsible for nurturing all traffic-driving efforts to 3M.com properties while designing and conducting landing page conversion tests. These traffic drivers include but are not limited to search engine marketing, display media, social media, and video. Additionally, the specialist will have responsibility for the daily management of technology platforms, media partners and agency relationships to further build in-house digital media team capabilities. This role coordinates with a variety of internal support teams including the digital resource center, corporate marketing, division marketing and business leaders, and agency partners.

This position provides an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government, or military environments to a 3M career.

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

·  Optimize digital media spend across the division
·  Manage the digital media calendar for the division
·  Translate business objectives into successful digital media campaigns
·  Develop, execute, and report A/B/n testing for campaigns and priority landing pages
·  Find, experiment with, and scale new ways to bring customers deeper into the funnel, while consistently iterating and improving upon existing channels
·  Managing B2B national and highly localized campaigns
·  Collaborate with IATD and partner teams to identify, plan, execute, and report media recommendations
·  Managing social media platforms, specifically YouTube, LinkedIn, and Facebook
·  Create dashboards and infographics that are easily understood which communicate specific opportunities to optimize media results
·  Expertise in managing complex, integrated paid search activations
·  Must be intellectually curious and a great team player
·  25% campaign design, 50% execution/optimization, 25% reporting

Basic Qualifications:

·  Possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
·  Minimum of three (3) years of digital media experience in a private, public, government,or military environment

Preferred Qualifications:

·  Experience in rolling out new digital technologies and experiences
·  Ability to communicate, identify, and define relevant information in a sea of data
·  Experience in data visualization tools such as Tableau, DOMO, and Power BI
·  Experience with attribution and upstream traffic models
·  Excellent team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
·  Experience managing multiple projects concurrently
·  Working knowledge of web tracking, analytics, and attribution
·  Prior agency experience preferred
