Stage de première année d'école d'ingénieurs
- Chimie / Biologie / Agronomie The main aim of this project was to prepare optically active semiconductor nanoparticles of different shapes and composition, and investigate their potential uses in biological applications. For this purpose, CdSe/CdS quantum dots, CdSe/CdS dot-in-rods and ZnS:Mn quantum dots were synthesized in organic phase. To then produce chiral water-soluble nanoparticles, the hydrophobic molecules were replaced by hydrophilic L-Cysteine and D-Cysteine molecules. using a ligand exchange procedure. Obtained water-soluble nanoparticles were used for the complexes formation with chiral photosensitizer molecule Chlorin e6; sensing chiral drugs (naproxen, ibuprofen). All nanoparticles and complexes based on them were fully characterised using various techniques (UV-Vis, PL, CD, TEM).
