- Chimie / Biologie / Agronomie Promethera® Biosciences develops cellular therapy products to treat diseases affecting hepatic functions such as HepaStem product. The HepaStem product, made up of human adult liver progenitor cells, is an alternative to liver transplantation or hepatocytes transplantation, these later cells being sensitive to cryopreservation.
During this internship I've studied the HepaStem mitochondrial activity and hepatic functionalities according to different differentiation protocols.
In addition, I am developing assay, such as glucose quantification, ATP quantification, PAS stainig, quantification of enzyme activity.
The missions consisted of:
- Development and optimization of assays to quantify hepatic functionnalities and mitochondrial activity.
- Development and optimization of differentiation protocols
- Data Analysis
