Forerunner on Home Automation solution and Internet of Things, Overkiz (www.overkiz.com) is the IoT “Innovation & Technology” independent affiliate of SOMFY Group (Global Leader of – 1B€ turnover in 2015). Since 7 years, Overkiz develops OEM connected products and building automation solutions for multinational companies. Our infrastructure technologies enable end-to-end remote control, diagnostic and digital maintenance of every device in housing (openings, heating, ventilation, lighting, air quality, security….). It is built around a core SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) platform, digital softwares and extensive expertise in hardware technologies.
We think Internet technologies can revolutionize huge businesses in the Equipment and Building sectors. Overkiz already delivers solutions to $B manufacturers, utilities, property builders, retailers… We think that we can fasten and simplify “connected product” strategies” without technology barriers. We think we can be uberizes building controls.
Poste et missions:
In the context of strong growth and international expansion, Overkiz needs to hire a new development position to meet its customers’ demand.
We are looking for a developer / engineer specialized in Java / J2EE environments
You will
- Integrate new protocols and new connected equipments
- Develop new services around Overkiz IoT platform
- Help to define evolutions for our IoT architecture and service offer
- Participate to our R&D and technology monitoring

Profil:
- Computer science engineering degree or equivalent,
- A minimum 2 year experience on Java/J2EE environment developments
- Masterized skills
- Object-relational mapping framework
- MVC framework
- Service structuration framework
- SQL database
- Ide : Eclipse, Intellij ...
- Technical knowledges expected
- Application server
- git, Jenkins, maven
- Api Rest Json / Soap
- Message oriented architecture
- Apache Cassandra, Apache Kafka
- IP newtwork functionning
- Proficient English. Ideally Chinese or French also (a plus)
