Primary responsibility to ensure each PD Asia market achieves its monthly, quarterly, annual financial and business objectives. Prepare and execute the Phaco development department budget/projection/P&L plan that aligns with PD long term strategic plan and the Alcon financial TFC guidance. Work with all PD country managers and their support teams to meet the annual objective. Cooperate with each country manager on the PD India/Vietnam/Russia annual budget, as per the above, to ensure PD Asia is following Alcon Asia HQ guideline as well as Alcon Global Financial Strategy. Provide ongoing coaching and direction to new Asia PD staff members on their essential every day financial tasks, coordinate the budget preparation and implementation for Asia PD per annual guidance and plan. Collaborate with in-country and Asia Regional finance, Compliance, HR, marketing and franchise teams on all of the above. Provide critical support to PD Country Managers and their support teams (China, India, Vietnam, etc.), to ensure standardization of all PD operations in each country. Build administrative procedures, reporting tools and oversee standardization of department operations Weekly/Monthly coordination with each PD Market to ensure timely delivery and roll up of the PD performance/snapshot/monthly report to Headquarter/Regional/PD Market. This includes but is not limited to; PD budget management, coordination and compliance of Key PD Programs and ongoing daily operations. Working with team to build internal and external PD presentation decks. Strengthening China Admin team. Ensure full staffing of direct reports and support the China PD Management team to achieve their staffing requirements. This includes coordination with PD Managers, Area Managers, and National Manager. Regular review, updating and streamlining of PD reporting tools Ensure all the PD Business Management team members have ongoing liaison with cross-functional teams ( Finance / Compliance / C&E / HR / Legal / GA / IT etc.) to achieve department and company objectives. Provide ongoing liaison with HR designated national recruitment companies to Achieve the HC-Talent objectives on PDS and PDM positions. Ensure an onboarding process that exceeds company standards, ensures quality performance and staff development. Provide clear, open, regular communication with all team members to ensure we achieve our performance objectives and have a positive work environment.
