The Global Government Affairs in Pernod Ricard have the following missions,
- To defend the interests of the Pernod Ricard Group towards authorities, relevant institutions and professional associations globally;
- To support affiliates in promoting the interests of the Pernod Ricard Group towards the local authorities and relevant national professional organizations;
- To support export of the Pernod Ricard Group’s European products in promoting the establishment of transparent and clearly defined international/European rules
- To defend intellectual property (brands and geographical indication) and to defend trade in promoting anti-discrimination policies

Context of the Job:
In order to assist the VP Gobal Government Affairs in an ever more challenging regulatory environment, the Direction of Global Government Affairs is looking for a project manager
- VIE
Main purposes of the job and Key Responsibilities
1) Brexit:
- Monitoring
- Analysis
- Co-ordination with the affiliates involved
- Assistance in the elaboration of a transition plan and alternative solutions
2) Support to Affiliates
- Monitoring and follow-up (ie tax measures in the US…)
3) Organization of corporate events (internal and external)
4) Support to the VP Global Government Affairs
Qualifications:
- European or international law license or masters-level education
- Initial working experience (traineeship, etc) at international/European institutions or international/European trade associations (preferably in relation with wine & spirits sector)
- Fluent in English; French or other major language is suitable.
- Good knowledge of and insights into the wine & spirits sector and International political environment
- Good communication skills
- A team player with good capability for developing personal networks
- Flexible
Full time position, based in Brussels
Starting Date : October or November 2017
Duration: 12 months.
