Context and purpose
We are looking for an engineer in industrial organization in our plant, for the production and logistic areas.
The NEW local champion implements the Nexans Excellence Way program. He is responsible for the follow-up of the daily management (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Environment) and the key indicators in Production and logistic.
The logistic coordinator is the contact person for the deployment and follow-up of new projects in the logistic center and makes the link between the teams on the shopfloor and the teams of the central services (SupplyChain, Back-office).
Areas of responsibility
- Continuous improvement in production
Follow-up and improvement of Nexans excellence way, the operational excellence program (daily management SQDCE, 5S, standards)
Follow-up and improvement of key indicators
Visual Management
Perform problem solving analysis using complex tools and methods.
Manage innovation projects.
Analyze effective progresses and gives feed back to key people with the production manager
Conduct benchmark to identify new solutions.
Identifies new ideas for process/product improvement within his perimeter.
- Continuous improvement in logistic
Coordinate the national and international projects on the shopfloor by working with both logistic’s team and central services (Supply Chain, Sales, Purchasing)
Follow-up of the daily management (SQDCE)
Problem solving analysis with the team
Follow-up and improvement of key indicators (claims, productivity, load/capacity); visual management.
Generate each month the dashboard : general view of the logistic activity
- Follow-up of performance
Generate each month the master plan : follow-up of financial indicators (savings)
Follow-up of action plan for specific projects in quality, production and logistic (value stream mapping, lead time, scrap, transport, OEE)
Give feedback on performance objectives to the teams in Production & Logistics
Active participation to the monthly Management
Meeting of the Site + all other meetings linked to his(her) activity

Required skills and qualifications
- Master degree
- Dutch, French and English

We would like to remind you that the VIE contract has few conditions which are to be an UE citizen (+ Norway) and to be under 28, to undertake a VIE in a country different from your nationality, to have undertaken no VIE before.
