Qualifications :

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR ASST. OUTLET MANAGER:

· To maintain all Restaurant and Bar standards as per current Westin and UAE standards

· To initiate and maintain timely recording of and follow-up of all bookings

· To manage Yield of inventories in accordance with Budget guidelines

· Communicate and administer selling strategy for F&B Outlets business to all internal parties

· To consult and effectively and positively manage changes in operation, policy and procedures with direct reports

· To provide regular feedback on progress/reports/magazines within the industry and how new concepts may be applied to our product

· To generate new ideas for service and products that will maintain a competitive and leading edge over our Competitive set

· To be proactive in prospecting / creating new Restaurant business

· To understand and effectively manage cultural needs and expectations of different groups utilising Hotel

· Positively identify and acknowledge excellence in operations impacting Restaurant business

· Distribute all Complimentary and Complaint letters to appropriate departments and manage follow-up

· Identify operational limitations and sell only what we advertise and can effectively manage operationally

· Maintain effective and appropriate liaison with clients whilst on property for site

· Initiate Customer follow-up within 1-3 days following large events for future business bookings

· Liaise with Events and Sales Account Managers on any Corporate or Group issues and action accordingly following consultation

· set yearly SMART objectives and goals for direct reports with approval from F&B Manager

· conduct quarterly appraisals with direct reports

· conduct performance or disciplinary related reviews with direct reports as necessary on a timely basis

· understand and implement all Westin programmes as applicable to Restaurants

MIXOLOGIST:

The mixologist will be responsible for the beverage (Cocktails, Mock tails and Spirits) education of all F&B service colleagues. Control and maintain stock levels in the beverage store and in the outlets. Maximize beverage (Cocktails, Mock tails and Spirits) sales for all venues through systematic upselling plan and identify others opportunities in order to achieve overall goals.

Identify opportunities and create beverage culture in the hotel in order to enhance revenues. Maintain close contact with suppliers in order to monitor support and incentive to achieve common cost saving targets.




RESPONSIBILITIES

· Interaction with guests.

· Training all F&B team associates on existing and new products.

· Driving beverage revenue through wine sales in the outlets.

· Analysing wine sales for each venue.

· Maintain beverage cost within budget.

· Conducting wine/ spirits related to product knowledge trainings and achieving training hours for each venue set by F&B manager

Conduct Selling techniques and any other necessary beverage trainings
