Job description

You are the first warm welcome for guests at W Amsterdam. You will guide them to their rooms, transport of luggage and valet parking is part of your job. Also, it is expected to provide guests with the requested information and to help with a good working process at the entrance and lobby.

Main responsibilities

- Welcoming guests
- Transport luggage of guests to the rooms
- Guide guests to their rooms and if necessary back
- Providing information regarding hotel facilities, Amsterdam and its surroundings
- Registration of cars and its keys for valet parking
- Maintain safety in lobby for guests, employees, the hotel and tracking down of any irregularities
- Delivering mail of guests to their rooms
- Check fire safety doors when fire alarm is ringing
- Control luggage area
- Arrange bookings for guests in restaurants, flights, theater, etc. on request
- Organizing transport for guests, such as train, tram or bus
- Perform all activities associate with the concept of Smart Butler
- Maintain good relationship with your colleagues
- Maintain good contact with the guests
