Qualifications :

Answer guest questions or concerns regarding the origin, vintage, and style of various wines, must know how to pair wine and food and be able to complete the patrons' gastronomical experience. Check quality and quantity of all stock and supplies. Requisition all supplies and order from suppliers according to business levels. Count bank before and at end of shift, complete designated cashier reports, resolve any discrepancies, drop off receipts, and secure bank. Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs promptly. Ensure staff is working together as a team. Constructing and conducting training materials and session on how to recommend, open and pour wine. Perform opening and closing inventories. Keep up with wine and food trends and industry developments.
