About the job (your work & tasks):

As the Commercial Business Navigator in Service Office you will focus on sales and margin of the units and HFB's, helping achieve business goals and identifying and supporting the opportunities to improve the business. In your role you will contribute to the goal setting, performance follow-up and results' forecasting. You will work together with the Country Commercial Team, the Sales team, the Business Navigation team, the store BNO teams, and other IKEA functions, departments and units. You will navigate the business towards growth, optimal performance and sustained long term profitability, using your knowledge and experience to contribute to IKEA success in South Korea. You will be a pro-active, trustworthy partner, taking a multidimensional view of the business, with the commercial agenda of IKEA in focus, working in an inspiring, supportive and challenging way in line with IKEA objectives and values.

More information about your tasks:

·  Contribute to budgeting of the sales and the gross margin, ensuring the alignment with the global and national directions and the commercial priorities.
·  Collaborate with the commercial team, the sales leaders and the stores to broaden our commercial and financial competence, securing the understanding of how to drive all the components of sales and gross profit.
·  Support and challenge the planning, implementation and follow up of the pricing of products and services, in line with country pricing principles.
·  Contribute to the Commercial team with a multidimensional view, identifying and evaluating commercial opportunities thanks to a deep understanding of IKEA range and commercial priorities.
·  Support the sales leaders and the stores in maximising sales and profit trough an efficient sales steering, identifying opportunities and potentials improvements, enabling the implementation of effective actions.
·  Navigate towards the growth of the multichannel retailing ensuring all sales initiatives grow the business and contribute to the long-term profitability, supporting commitment among the stakeholder.
·  Drive and coordinate the monthly and bi-monthly forecasting process of sales and gross margin, in collaboration with the commercial team and the stores.
·  Contribute to the goal setting and follow-up, including learning's, for each Marketing & Sales activity, with relevant tools to effectively monitor sales and investments, ensuring a good result of the activity.

It is essentials that you have:

·  Deep understanding of the IKEA Concept, including the IKEA vision, business idea, culture and values
·  Strong interest in home furnishings and deep understanding of IKEA values, and what IKEA stands for.
·  Strong, broad commercial business knowledge and cross-functional understanding of how IKEA operates.
·  Understanding the economy of IKEA, Sales and Margin components, P&L structure and KPIs used to measure and steer the business performance.
·  Strong communication skills with capacity to influence decisions and create energy and commitment within the organisation.
·  Strong analytical skills, understanding the business through the figures, seeing trends, opportunities and risks.
·  Ability to multitask, prioritise, meet deadlines, coordinate timelines, and solve problems involving the stakeholders at the right stage.
·  Proficiency in MS Office and relevant IT tools and solutions.
·  Good knowledge of English and local language, both written and verbal.
