Engie Fabricom is a major player in the growing European offshore windfarm Sector. Constantly seeking innovative solutions, we developed the concept of the Offshore High-Voltage Substation (OHVS) to optimize exporting power from a wind farm. Our capacity to take an OHVS project from the initial feed studies through to operation and maintenance and to guarantee on-time delivery has greatly contributed to increasing the number of wind farms calling on our involvement. We also lead and manage a large number of partnerships and consortiums, and our flexible attitude is highly appreciated by our clients.

For our Offshore Division, located in Hoboken (Antwerp), we are looking for an (m/f):

junior Automation & Scada Enginer

Your function:

As an junior Automation & Scada Engineer you will be joining a team of automation & scada engineers on our offshore windfarm projects. Your job in our team will be programming and commissioning of PLC & SCADA applications. This is done 90% on our yard in Hoboken. 10% is done abroad. Transfer to the offshore sides is done by heli or boat. You have attention for safety and environmental treats. You are willing to learn new skills on the job.

Your responsiblities:
·  participate in technical meetings with clients, subcontractors and the overall project team.
·  analyze technical specifications and write functional analysis.
·  design of the necessary hard- and software.
·  execute engineering tasks for projects, such as hardware, software and commissioning
·  commissioning on-site and offshore
·  willing to go abroad for max 10 days
·  don't be afraid of heights and water
·  liking a bit of adventure

·  Bachelor or Master in Industrial Sciences, ICT or equivalent
· 
knowledge the following program/domains/background is a plus:

· 
Zenon and/or SICAM systems

· 
Siemens PLC, Beckhoff PLC and/or other PLC systems

·  Networks
· 
A first experience within automation

· 
strong teamplayer with a strong hands on mentality

· 
strong analytical skills

· 
resultdriven and problem solver

· 
communicative, oral and written, with a good focus on a client-oriented approach

· 
good knowledge of the standard MS Office programs

· 
excellent in Dutch & English, with a working knowledge of French
