Le Métier

Decathlon recruits a product engineer to help sports integrating electronic solutions in their products. From various needs, you will be responsible to define the best strategy of development and bring the best answer in term of electronic and mechanical solution.

You will be responsible for design, development and industrialization of new range of electronic products. As a technical project manager, you will manage the development of those products using your technical skills, as well as project management competencies and will use as much as possible the network of experts (engineer, designer, process expert, design house, etc…).  

On each of your project, you will challenge the conception in order to reduce cost, shorten time to market and minimize environmental impact to offer the best value price ratio. You will also ensure the conformity of product on each retail market and follow up the quality of your portofolio once products are in store.

You are curious and eager to learn about electronic and mechanical. Plus, you have an entrepreneur spirit that will help you to make your projects go on efficiently. 

You like testing by yourself developing prototypes to be able to test on the field.

You will be part of a team spread in different places so you communication and functional management competencies to coordinate the actions will be crucial.

English will be your working language and you will have to organize business trip from time to time every year in Asia.
