Software Project Quality Engineer

Position description

* Application of software quality assurance for the assigned projects
* Create the software Quality Assurance plan and define additional SW quality objectives (project or customer specific, if required)
* Approve the tailoring of the process
* Review the Software Development Plan, including Software Test Strategy
Plan, participate, moderate and track milestone reviews for Software release
* Participate in technical software reviews
* Monitor the review information, work products, support documents etc. to verify whether projects are developing according to plan
* Support project team in all software quality and process related activities
* Evaluate Software metrics
* Report the software quality assurance status
* Support Software process improvement activities
* Support piloting and roll­out of new processes
* Support risk management
* Drive management decision for critical releases
* Escalate problems that cannot be solved within the project team
* Co­ordinate customer/internal audits(software relevant) and assure follow­up on improvement actions
* Perform internal process­, configuration management audits
* Perform software anomaly analysis and propose improvement actions

Desired profile

Requirements

*Bachelor of software/information engineering or communication engineering degree
*Experience in the Automotive Industry is preferred
*More than 3 years experience in software quality assurance
*Good knowledge about embedded product software and test
*Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a technical environment, multiple projects/customers and cross locations
*Familiar with C programming language preferred
*Fluent English communication
*Advanced people communication skill
