As a software engineer you join one of our data­centric teams working on:

• Developing and operating one or several features of our data platform (data acquisition & storage, real­time and batch data pipelines, data visualization, etc).
• Developing specific Analytics capabilities to answer the questions raised by our applications teams.

As a team member you potentially work on all software engineering activities: designing API, designing GUI, coding, testing, documentation, solving issues, measuring an improving performance, technical experiments, etc. You share your experience with other team members to help them enhance their capabilities.

According to your skills and interest, you also choose to contribute to one or more communities gathering members from all our teams around transverse topics, such as continuous integration and continuous deployment, microservices, Apache Spark, etc.

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:
• Proficient in at least one of the following programming language: Python, Go, Scala, Java, C/C++
• Experience in developing, operating and/or administrating solutions in the Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, YARN, MapReduce, Apache Spark, Hive, Spark SQL, Apache Kafka, Apache Storm, Spark Streaming, Flink, etc) and/or NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra, HBase, Neo4j, etc)
• Experience with batch and/or real­time (streaming) data pipelines
• Knowledge or experience with the following items are a plus
o AWS, GCP or Azure cloud services portfolios
o « Cloud­native » Solutions like Consul, ZooKeeper, Mesos, Kubernetes, Docker, Swarm, Ansible, Chef, Puppet
o Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Beats, Kibana)
o Developing and/or operating distributed systems under linux
o Data visualization
o Functional programming
o REST services and/or microservices (NodeJS, Vertx, Spring boot, Dropwizard, etc)
o Relational Database Management Systems
o DevOps

• Agile approaches, Continuous integration/deployment.
• Working with French and English speaking team members
• Active communication and team spirit
