Job description

We are looking for a Fund Accountant to join our Fund Accounting team in Brussels.

We offer a fixed-term contract (1 year) in a young, dynamic and multicultural environment!

In a nutshell:

You will play an active part in the calculation of the net asset values (NAV) of our clients' funds.
You will also contribute to the production of client, legal and financial reports.
You will coordinate and maintain good professional relationships with clients and providers, both internal and external.

What will be expected of you:

NAV Calculation:
- Control and process transactions on portfolio and capital;
- Double-check portfolio prices with different pricing sources;
- Reconcile cash and portfolio positions with the Custodian;
- Reconcile capital positions with the Transfer Agent;
- Calculate and pay recurring fees and commissions;
- Respect calculation deadlines.

Internal & External relationships:
- Stay client-focused and maintain a high quality of service;
- Preserve a good working relationship with our providers.

Additional responsibilities:
- Take part in Group and/or Client projects;
- Prepare documentation for the Auditors at their request;
- Archive NAV calculation data.

What we expect from you:

Background:
- A Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics;
- Experience in the banking sector, ideally in Fund Accounting;
- Fluency in English, French and/or Dutch;
- A Practical knowledge of Excel, Word and other MS Office tools;
- Knowledge of accounting software (Multifonds FA is a plus).
