Assystem has been supporting and managing challenging projects and deploying cross-functional expertise across key industrial sectors like nuclear, energy, oil & gas, infrastructure, transport, automotive, aerospace, life-sciences... Assystem opened a subsidiary in Belgium in 2009 to support and develop the activities of its local customers in their respective sectors. In the field of Life Sciences, its offering is characterised by an intimate knowledge of the processes and methodologies associated with highly regulated environments. Moreover, Assystem Belgium brings all of its know-how to the Belgian market, particularly in the Energy and Nuclear field, and in the Rail Transport and Aeronautical sectors.
Assystem Belgium keeps growing. Therefore, we are now looking for a Business Developer to support our internal structure and actively participate to the development of our activities in the aerospace, automotive and industry market. Your role is not, however, limited to commercial development. You will play an important role in human resources for the business unit, recruiting and advising the consultants who will join our team.
Your tasks and responsibilities will be the following:
Identify and develop new businesses
- Build business strategy to leverage market opportunities
- Identify business targets
- Prospect new customers
- Understand the technical, business and human challenges of client projects
- Shape the best answer (team, expertise, pricing) in the shortest time
- Nourish relationship with existing contacts
- Negotiate and close deals
- Supervising the financial status of our activity
- Organizing & coordinating the commercial relationships with our partners
Recruit and select
- Participating to the recruitment attracting policy
- Selecting & recruiting our new consultants
Education, experience and skills : Master’s Degree in Business or Engineering
- Successful business development experience in a similar environment is an asset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a challenging environment
- French and English. Dutch is an asset
- Reliable and organized
- Team-player attitude
- Dedicated and proactive mindset
