Description of the job

A vacancy for a Workshop CAD Solution Architect (m/f) has arisen within STELIA Aerospace. The position is located at the Saint-Nazaire site, but it concerns the other STELIA AEROSPACE sites. You will join the Workshop and CAD Solutions domain within STELIA Information Systems.
The jobholder will be responsible for ensuring the appropriateness and correct operation of Workshop and CAD solutions used by the sector/mechanical detail parts processes, such as pipe bending, drawing, forming and machining.
The jobholder will interface with operational customers using Workshop and CAD solutions: Industrialisation services (manufacturing engineering, programming, tooling), production units, maintenance services, measurement and quality. As the jobholder, you will work with the Workshop and CAD domain teams, spread out over all the STELIA sites, on a daily basis.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main responsibilities will include:

Regarding Workshop and CAD solutions used by the sector/mechanical detail parts processes, such as pipe bending, drawing, forming and machining:

·  Animating relations with operational customers of solutions of your legacy (idea management, identification of malfunctions, problem management, etc.)
·  Collecting function needs.
·  Representing the Workshop and CAD domain, on projects of workshop reorganisation/services reorganisation based on the solutions in your portfolio (e.g. reorganisation of the Tubes and Pipes production line of Saint-Nazaire)
·  Orientation of the activity portfolio of the Workshop and CAD domain depending on:

o function constraints (operational challenges or updates of the latter)
o constraints related to changes of the STELIA information system
o user feedback both in operational activity and during the acceptance phase
o of your improvement process on the solutions concerned

·  Steering the identified projects:

o Structuring, coordinating project teams
o Providing arbitration on possible technical choices and organisation
o Supervising the running of projects
o Complying costs, deadlines and quality objectives of projects

·  Preparing, deploying projects and implementing user support actions
·  Participating in the drawing up of operational rules and the use of solutions
·  Representing functions during the daily life of IT solutions of your legacy

Required skills

As the successful candidate, you should be able to demonstrate some of the following skills and experience:

·  Educated to a 4/5-year degree level
·  General engineering background with a focus on mechanical engineering
·  Experience in the collection and formalisation of needs and project management
·  Significant experience in the CAD, CAM domains using CATIA V5 and the operation of digital mock-up
·  Experience in the deployment of MES and/or SCADA systems
·  Knowledge of implementation processes of mechanical detail parts, such as pipe bending, drawing, forming and machining
·  Basic knowledge of production management and lean manufacturing
·  Analytical mind-set Independent Ability to work in a multi-functional team, sense for pedagogy, methodical and structured approach Ability to adapt
·  French: intermediate level
·  English: intermediate level
