Description of the job

Airbus Toulouse is looking for an intern for a 6-month internship.

Within the Toulouse A320 FAL quality organisation, you will be in charge of managing quality improvement projects within the FAL, assigning priorities and ensuring the rules and standards applicable to quality are applied.
You will responsible for implementing software used to manage aircraft zone closures and ensure all quality and production representatives use it.

This internship will start on 4th September 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks will be to:

·  Identify the aircraft closure zones and the various participants,
·  Create a business case to estimate the gains and costs related to deploying this solution,
·  Define a deployment and risk analysis plan,
·  Communicate with the production units,
·  Deploy and configure the intended solution based on the aircraft zone closures and quality specialist restrictions,
·  Draft the procedures to help with common usage and maintenance procedures for quality specialists,
·  Support users.

Required skills

You are in the final year of engineering school, completing a Master's degree or in 5th year of university, specialising in Manufacturing Engineering and/or Quality.

You have knowledge of:

·  Manufacturing processes,
·  Project management,
·  Knowledge of Visual Basic languages: Java and HTML and basic knowledge of MySQL databases would be a real advantage.

You have the following qualities:

·  You have good summary skills,
·  You are a good team player and you have excellent interpersonal skills.

English: intermediate level
French: fluent
