Description of the job

Airbus Blagnac is looking for an intern for a 6 months internship.

The mission will be conducted for the A330 & A330 neo family to facilitate decision making for major industrial changes and Programme rate evolution and to propose dynamic buffer protection in the Final Assembly line, to secure the A/C deliveries.

This internship will start on 1st September (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

Your responsibilities will be to:

·  Proposing dynamic Final Assembly Line protection scheme to secure aircrafts deliveries, especially during critical periods (before summer, end of year), while maintaining global inventory reduction targets,
·  Analysing FAL secondary flows and identifying parts for which buffer protection would be beneficial upon period of the year (based on occurrence, criticality, logistical flows complexity, risks), with a special focus on end of year aircraft deliveries protection,
·  Mapping already existing local buffers,
·  Proposing candidates for additional buffer protection and associated triggers and management rules based on FAL activity,
·  Define business case and prepare complete dossier for Programme approval,
·  Ensure liaison with Procurement and Operations teams to reach agreements with suppliers
·  Monitor buffers implementation

Required skills

You are in the final year of a Master's degree, or of an engineering school, specialising in Supply Chain Management.

You have the following qualities:

·  Tenacity
·  Analytic & Synthetic mind-set

You are a good team player and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

English: Advanced level.
French: Fluent.
