Essential and optional requirements

Main Responsibilities
Customer Relation:
• Meet, greet and seat our guests in a friendly, courteous and efficient manner without delays
• Portray a professional image of the hotel with guests
• Prolong multi-skill training designed to generate all-round.
• Subsidizes globally to guest contentment through the excellence of his/her work and prototypical behavior
• Establishes good relations with guests, offering advice and nurturing customer loyalty

Professional Techniques:
• Take food & beverage orders and provide recommendations to guests on desired menu items and accurately input into the micros system.
• Maintain the restaurant clean with high sanitation standards.
• Acknowledge all departing guests and indicate appreciation for the guest’s visit and for their patronage.
• Clear and reset tables after our guests have departed.
• Stock and replenish silverware, china, and napkins in service stations.
• Ensure that all cutlery, crockery and glassware are clean and polished to a high standard before and after service.

Commercial /Sales
• Observant to guests' needs and accomplishes them, while increasing sales
• Helps gain customer loyalty through the high standard of service
• Act in a professional manner and be up to date with positive sales techniques and up-sell at all time
• Boosts guests to post their comments on the hotel sites.

Education / Professional Experience
• Vocational certificate or diploma in F&B and/or anyone eager to work in the sector regardless of their educational background, pending validation of their skills and motivation
• Fluent in the national language, and Business English
• Hands-on professional with a passion for service quality and excellence.
• Outgoing, creative, positive attitude and eager to share the desire to deliver exceptional service values with guests and associates.
• Have previous experience in a 4 star hotel or similar environment.
• Ideally have a basic knowledge of the MICROS system
